In 2014 he won the inaugural youth award in the National Telstra Art Awards for Indigenous Artists and this year his fabric titled Basket will feature on the cover of the catalogue for the  exhibition Aboriginal Screen Printed textiles from Australia's Top End exhibition at the Fowler Museum at the University of California in Los Angeles. He also has three fabric lengths in that exhibition that are  also now part of the Fowler Collection.
