Kym Whitfield, Driftwood snake (2019), acrylic on driftwood. (Length 40cm)
Artist Kym Whitfield is inspired by the natural world. In this beautiful wooden sculpture made from driftwood, the artist has allowed the material to dictate the form and then hand painted the snake design accordingly.
Whitfield is part of the Ironbark Aboriginal Corporation Community Development Program (CDP) team at Adelaide River, building capacity, skills and employability through the development of creativity and artistic practice.
