Wild North Comics | Darwin Artist-Run Comic Collective & Indigenous Storytelling

Wild North Comics is a Darwin-based, artist-run comic collective founded by Timothy Parish and Jonathon Saunders. Bringing together writers and illustrators from across Australia, they produce bold, independent comics spanning sci-fi, fantasy and stories grounded in the Territory.
Timothy Parish is a Darwin-born filmmaker and cross-media artist working across visual art, literature and filmmaking. Jonathon Saunders is a Woppaburra man from Keppel Island in Queensland. He was raised in Darwin and is an illustrator and animator who brings a strong cultural perspective and a storytelling approach to his work.
Through publications, exhibitions and events, Wild North is helping grow the Top End’s comic scene — creating space for new voices and original storytelling.
