Pantjiti is one of the most senior culture women and Ngangkari (traditional
healers) in the region.

Pantjiti's paintings reflects her deep knowledge of place and culture. She paints this
experience of Country and inma (ceremony) depicting kapi tjukurla (rockholes), karu
(creeks), tali (sandhills) and women's ceremonial patterns.

With a masterful use of colour and texture, Pantjiti brings to life the vibrant and
dynamic spirit of the central desert.

The painting is characterized by its rich, earthy tones and textured strokes,
which together create a sense of movement and fluidity, evoking the ever-
changing waters that are central to the life and culture of the region.

The artwork invites viewers to contemplate the importance of these natural
water sources and the profound impact they have on the community that
depends on them.
