Yildaan; Our Dreaming Track by Uncle Bud Marshall with Yandaara

Giinagay, welcome, I’m Uncle Bud, a Gumbaynggirr man and Aboriginal Elder from Nambucca Heads. This is my Country. I wish to share the story of this place and its Elders, inviting all who visit to understand where they are. I want them to walk the path of our ancestors and become part of Yildaan, our Dreaming track. Through a blend of Gumbaynggirr and English, along with photography and illustrations, Yildaan intertwines Uncle Bud’s journey with ancestral tales, featuring artwork from Aunty Shaa’s nieces and a special contribution from Aunty Shaa herself.
